Merry Christmas to Everyone!! I hope you were good and Santa has left you lots of goodies. I have so much to be thankful for this year. These are my children. Everyone is healthy and happy and most of the time... sane. LOL! On the left is Holly, she will be 18 on Dec. 29th. Next we have Kristen who is turning 23 years old today. (my Christmas baby) Then there is Jeremy who is 30. And last but not least we have Darla the dog. She is 2 this Christmas. When Kristen came home with a dog that looked more like a rat but had bat ears, I sure had my doubts... but I have to tell you that I love that little dog to death. :) Now I am very, very, very thankful for my hubby also but he has learned to duck from the camera lady. I love you Micheal.

I am also thankful for our home. Here is an image from the freak snow storm that came to visit Lafayette Louisiana a week or so ago.

Merry Christmas! I am thankful for my family and that God gave me two more grandbabies this year! Many other things to be thankful for but would take too much room to list!

Thanks again for the papers! And your inspiration to keep plugging away at this photography thing! I'm thankful for that too!

Kimi,

It's been a blessing to have crossed paths with you in cyberspace. Merry Christmas, and have a wonderfully joyful 2009!

I'm grateful for the simplicity of my life - where I can focus on my children and husband, and be involved with things that matter. :)

Oh, Kimi, so many things to be thankful for! First, I'm thankful for my faith in Jesus Christ, without that I would not be here. Second, family, how blessed I am to have all of them. Third, I live in this wonderful free country where I am free to choose so many things. Fourth, the relative affluence of my life. We aren't rich by a long shot, but I have a warm home, quiet neighborhood, good friends, plenty to eat, a reliable car, suitable clothing to brave the elements. And, lastly, today I am thankful for a beautiful white Christmas, with a roast in the oven and family coming for dinner. I am truly blessed.

Firstly Kimi, I would like to say thank you for sharing your lovely papers and for a very inspiring website. There are so many things in life to be thankful for that I will pick just one right now and that is health - both physical and mental/emotional.

As a nurse I'm working all over Christmas and New Year in a centre for people with severe epilepsy and learning disabilities and this brings home the importance of our health and in fact the freedoms and independence that good health bestows upon us. For this I am very grateful.

I wish you all a very Happy Christmas and health and happiness in the coming year.

I got to see my grandchild today and hold him and left him know how much I love him. His mother has not allowed me to see him since Thanksgiving. God will handle her and in the meantime, I am so grateful that I saw him. He is so special. Merry Christmas to you and yours and a New Year of prosperity according to God's will.

Merry Christmas! Thanks so much for the papers!

I am thankful for so much - my children who are all employed again after losing their jobs this past year so I don't have to worry (more than usual, lol!) about them. The aliens brought my 16 year old granddaughter back this past summer (after taking her right after she turned 13 and leaving one of THEIRS in her stead - spoke almost no human language, mostly communicated in 1 syllable words, dressed REALLY weird, etc.) and we are so happy to have her back! My dad's 1st year of dialysis has gone well, and we've had the pleasure of celebrating his 87th birthday this October!

LOL - I could go on (and on) but you get the gist - we've had some bad things happen but have survived them all with love and laughter and find ourselves blessed at the end of the year.

Wishing you & yours the best in the new year!

Your children are gorgeous, and the photo, well it's stunning. I love black and white! I have 3 December birthdays in my immediate family too (2 kids and me)...it seems I know more December birthdays than any other month, but that could be because it's my birthday month. I agree there is so much to be thankful for! I am enjoying the sound of the crashing waves of the Gulf of Mexico just a short walk from the beach house. It is a beautiful thing.

Here’s to more happy scrapping, and
Hugs from the heart,
Jeanette
