Click on the image for a bigger view. I have been so lost in trying to find 3 "Red Hot" images for the ArtWalk that I was beginning to wonder if I had any talent at all. Everything I thought would work has fallen flat. :( Yesterday, I thought that is it.... it is gone! All of my creativity has left. Disgusted I got up from my computer and picked up my camera to walk outside and check on Hubby. (who was doing his weekly cut the grass obligation) There stood a yellow spider Lilly. Now I have wanted yellow Spider Lilies for years. My good friend Kim was kind enough to give over a couple of bulbs last year. So this year I have 2. Makes me smile every time I look at them. She is such a free spirit. Always a huge smile on her face, always bouncing from place to place. This quiet moment seems like a gift. This image was worked following some of the basic principles from this weeks homework. Our second lesson for the fall session has been posted. I do hope you stop by and give it a look. It is time to start the fall semester of kimi's Kreative homework . We call it a class because we feel like we are all learning from each other. Do you have a nice camera but your images aren't up to par. Maybe you are longing for the nice camera but still working off your point and shoot. It does not matter. You digital images will be changed forever if you come and join our class. And the best thing about it is FREE!!! I will post a new assignment every Tuesday. Select the desired color as your foreground color. Go to edit, fill, pick the foreground color option in the drop down box and check the preserve transparency box. Well, we survived the hurricane!! The eye came right over my city. We never lost power and the house is fine. We are still sending prayers to the ones that weren't so lucky.
