Click on the image for a bigger view. Here is the link to a FREE plug-in that works in CS or Elements. It has lots of painting effects. Unzip the file and if you have CS or Elements you want to click on the one that says.... simpifly-set-up . It will install itself into your filter menu. Quick and easy!! It is called the Topaz Simplify. It is a beta version so at some point Topaz will have it for sale. It works with Windows only. I had their second version and have uninstalled it to add the third version. I have had no problems with it at all. :) The above picture of my daughter Kristen was done using the filter to make it look like a painting. Here is the Topaz link. You want the last one. I have also asked everyone to give it a try and share their edge with the class. I also wanted to share an image that I took over the weekend. Two of my favorite people. Miss Kristie and Grace. I just love it!! It shows all of the love Kristie has for her child in her eyes and it shows Grace in her normal I am not happy face. LOL!! Boy, how many times do we see that face. Now, I know I have posted plenty of pictures of Grace where she is just beautiful but even the beauties have a small dark side. ;) Click on the image for a bigger view.

Click on the image for a bigger view. WOW... did we cover everything! Layers, levels, color pop, curves, channel mixer, etc. Our last week of lessons were about making a good black and white image. This was my final class image. What do you think? I NEED to highly recommend Kylie's class to anyone that wants to learn Photoshop. You can find out all about it here. Phaunt U. I'm sure they are already planning how to drive their parents crazy. :) The top image is the birth announcement I made to send out to family. I have used bits and pieces to make all kind of things. I highly recommend the buy. Not only is Leah's stuff amazing but it works well for any occasion. Do take a peak at her store.
